The fastest way to reach us is by phone. For anything urgent — a wall that has moved noticeably in a short period, water actively entering a basement, or a floor that has dropped suddenly — call rather than using the form.
For inspections, quotes and general questions the contact form works well and we will get back to you.
What to Have Ready
A few details make the first conversation much more useful.
Roughly when you first noticed the problem, and whether it has changed since. Change matters more than the existence of a crack — a crack that has been the same for ten years and one that has widened this spring are very different situations.
What type of foundation you have, if you know: slab, crawl space, basement, or a mixture. If you are not sure, whether there is a vent or an access hatch around the outside of the house is a good clue.
Where the damage is. One corner, one wall, or spread around the house. Concentrated damage usually points to a specific cause, which is helpful.
Whether anything has changed outside — new patio, new landscaping, a downspout that came adrift, a plumbing leak, or a large tree removed or planted near the house.
Photographs Help More Than Anything
If you can safely take them, send a wide shot of the affected wall inside and out, a close-up of any crack with a coin or tape measure alongside for scale, and a picture of your crawl space or basement.
It is frequently possible to say from photographs whether you are looking at active settlement, lateral soil pressure, or ordinary curing cracks that need nothing at all. That is worth knowing before anyone visits.
Safety Note
Do not enter a crawl space if you are unsure about it. Standing water and electrical wiring are a bad combination, and older crawl spaces can have poor air quality and unstable footing. If you cannot get pictures safely, that is fine — leave it to the inspection.
